Footwear supplies with zero tariff
As of November 8, 2025, Decree 1184 established a zero tariff for the import of 37 materials and components used in footwear, apparel and clothing, under the criterion that they are not manufactured domestically.
The measure will affect imports from countries that do not have trade agreements with Colombia and will remain in force for two years. The list includes yarns, fabrics and fibers.
Colombian officials indicated that the measure aims to promote industries and reduce manufacturing costs.
