SNEAKER BOOTS. Hybrids defining winter Street Style
The London-based brand MIISTA, with Spanish founder Laura Villaseñín, blends London’s design sensitivity and contemporary spirit with the tradition and quality of Spanish and Portuguese craftsmanship.
One of its latest releases is the IMOGEN sneaker boot, an avant-garde design that merges elements of formal footwear with a sporty touch. This hybrid style delivers a striking visual impact, representing the silhouette of a boot with characteristics of the English lace-up Brogue, with a sporty sole, inspired by boxing boots.
The last has a tapered, almond-shaped toe-end that breaks with traditional athletic norms, giving it a more elegant, formal touch. A long lacing system extends along the front.
The split rubber sole features a fragmented design between forefoot and heel, with wraparound lateral extensions.
The IMOGEN sneaker boot is made from semi-lustrous polished leather, contrasted with patent-leather applications and prominent topstitching.
