Skechers expands its European logistics network

The American brand is developing a new 230,000-square-meter distribution center in Belgium, near Liège Airport and its existing facility in Milmort. The company aims to maintain a balance involving its existing workforce while introducing automation, a combination intended to sustain its operations and location despite cost pressures.
The new complex will reorganize logistics flows, from the receipt of goods through to dispatch, and will obtain BREEAM Excellence certification. Construction was completed in August 2026, when the automated system was installed. The first phase of this system is expected to be completed by the end of 2028, according to the company.
