In early April, the Peru Moda Chile 2024 Trade Mission took place, as announced by the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (PROMPERÚ).
The delegation included 16 companies from five regions: Trujillo, Lima, Arequipa, Cusco, and Piura, presenting proposals in footwear, clothing for adults, children, and babies, and jewelry.
The companies participated in a business roundtable with around 80 buyers and subsequently made visits to VIP clients.
Fashion trade with Chile has strengthened since the health crisis and the ensuing cost and logistics challenges, which led importers to seek closer and more competitive options. In this regard, Peru stands out as a valid alternative due to its proximity, shared language, and diverse quality products.
