Sharp drop in the production of plastic footwear

According to figures from INEGI -National Institute of Statistics, Geography and Informatics- during 2020, 7.4 million plastic footwear were no longer manufactured in the country, which represented the largest drop in the last 5 years.

This amount was 27% less than the production of 2019, when 27.1 million pairs were manufactured.
