As part of the strategies to promote the recovery of lost jobs and the economic reactivation of the region, the "Labor Link for the Footwear Industry 2021" was carried out with the offer of a thousand vacancies by 23 companies specialized in the leather-footwear and leather goods sector.
Mauricio Usabiaga Díaz Barriga, Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development highlighted that thanks to the public policies promoted by Governor Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, Guanajuato and the footwear sector are advancing on the correct path towards economic recovery thanks to the synergy generated between the three organs of government, private initiative and society.
"These jobs represent a source of income for their homes, have peace of mind, a stable job and the benefits of having benefits and social security, increasing the quality of life for Guanajuato families", he said.
The "Labor Link" is carried out in a transversal work between the Secretariat of Sustainable Economic Development (SDES), the Chamber of the Footwear Industry of the State of Guanajuato (CICEG), the Municipality of León and the National Employment Service (SNE) with the aim of achieving and facilitating direct contact between job seekers and companies in an agile, timely and in one place. In this sense, actions and programs are promoted in response to the demand for human talent required by companies in the sector in order for people from Guanajuato to be the main beneficiaries of this recovery.
In this edition, companies such as Michael Alle, Botas Padilla, Brantano, Big Apple, Flexi, Old Gringo, Raudal, Franco Cuadra, Andrea, Proshoe, Vaqueras, 4-ever participated, among others, offering vacancies for administrative, technical and operational profiles.
The event was attended by Marath Baruch Bolaños López, Undersecretary of Employment and Labor Productivity of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, Ramón Alfaro Gómez, Undersecretary of Employment and Labor Training; José Manuel Casanueva de Diego, General Director of Economy of the Municipality of León and Alfredo Padilla Villalpando, President of the Chamber of Footwear of the State of Guanajuato (CICEG).
With these actions, the SDES seeks to continue promoting strategies that reactivate the economy and offer alternatives to people from Guanajuato to have a secure income and improve their quality of life.
