ASICS reorganizes Onitsuka Tiger business

ASICS plans to transfer the activities of Onitsuka Tiger, the Japanese footwear brand, to OT GROUP Corporation. The transaction is scheduled for January 1, 2027, and will be carried out through a simplified absorption-type company split, with the business transferred to the group’s wholly owned subsidiary.
The reorganization seeks to give the brand greater operational autonomy and streamline decision-making. The company adopted the measure following Onitsuka Tiger’s increased recognition and international expansion.
According to ASICS, the new structure could contribute to the corporate value of the group and the brand, as well as support the business's growth.
