ECCO launches PreLoved to recover used footwear
The brand has implemented the ECCO PreLoved program in Germany, designed to extend the useful life of its products through the revaluation of previously used footwear and handbags. Through this initiative, ECCO receives second-hand items in selected stores (excluding outlets), where they are later refurbished -professional cleaning and repair- for resale.
In return, customers receive a voucher for future purchases, valid for one year. Items that cannot be recovered are directed to recycling or donation.
In addition to collection, the system includes online sales of refurbished products, integrating a circular logic within the retail channel, according to the brand.
