For the remainder of 2021, CALTU has scheduled three initiatives related to the sector. On the one hand, the First Business Round was designed, in order to promote the commercialization of Ecuadorian footwear, through contact between producers and representatives of large commercial chains. Secondly, also with the aim of promoting sales, the first footwear outlet was created in Ambato, a space where consumers can make their purchases directly from manufacturers.
Finally, another of the actions aimed at promoting the sector will be the face-to-face realization of the FICCE fair -International Fair of Materials, Footwear and Components- which is planned for next October, as reported by CALTU.
