Online retail sales remain on the rise

Through the Online Retail Sales Report, the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism (CNC) reported on the figures corresponding to the retail electronic commerce of FOOTWEAR. In this sense, in the first quarter of 2021, the sector had a positive variation of 140.6%, followed by an increase of 147% in the second third, compared to the same periods last year.

In addition, the CNC Studies Department explained that this item was the only one that grew in the third quarter of the year, out of the five surveyed. Thus, the increase reached 12.4%, a lower percentage than the previous ones, due to the return on face-to-face sales and the higher comparison base.
