North American sustainability, of interest to suppliers
Between November 7th and 11th, the Sustainability Mission to the United States took place in California. There, members of ASSINTECAL and APEX-BRASIL participated, entities that carry out the By Brasil Components, Machinery and Chemicals program, promoter of the event.
Five executives from companies in the sector also took part, who together visited the firms Patagonia, All Birds, Deckers, Schoolab, Av.re, Higg, Shoes53045, Aveva and Applied Material.
According to Aline Santos -Marketing and Relations Manager of the association-, "the objective of the Mission was to generate connections and exchange information to understand the demand of the main international players in the sector, in addition to presenting what the Brazilian industry has been doing in the area of sustainability”, informed ASSINTECAL.
