The volume of footwear entered Brazil was 22.7 million pairs in 2021, for deals that reached US$ 287 million. Thus, the quantity of footwear registered an increase of 7.5%, while the value showed a decrease of 4.3% compared to the previous year.
The largest supplier was Vietnam, which did business for US$ 149.5 million for 7.7 million pairs; then Indonesia raised $47 million from the sale of 2.4 million pairs. From China, 9.8 million pairs were imported, totaling a value of US$ 36.6 million, reported ABICALÇADOS.
