The Union of Footwear Producers of Cochabamba, which brings together around 60 workshops and more than 600 families, was seeking to supply school shoes to the region.
Manfred Reyes Villa -mayor of Cochabamba- reported that there is an ongoing tender to provide footwear for the early education and primary level of the educational system. The volume of what is demanded exceeds 100 thousand pairs and from the association they aspire to satisfy that need, informed the newspaper Opinión.
