At the end of last January, the activities of the productive unit in Chilecito, La Rioja, were restarted, after two years of inactivity, local media reported.
At that time, the maintenance of the tannery was in charge of 65 workers, a staff that would increase to 120 in the following months, to reach 400 or 450 jobs by the middle of the year.
