SME production rebounded in March
The Argentine Confederation of Medium Enterprises (CAME) reported on the disparate variations that the SME FOOTWEAR AND LEATHER GOODS industry had in its production.
According to the Monthly Industrial Survey of the entity, the aforementioned sector presented a fall of 10.9% in January 2021, compared to the same month of the previous year. Among the factors that influenced the indicator, the fall in the use of footwear and the lower demand for the school typology footwear were detailed.
For the remainder of the first quarter, production in Footwear and Leather Goods contracted 4.4% in February and registered an increase of 13.8% year-on-year in March.
