A nationwide survey, carried out by CAME, determined that the quantities of physical and online retail sales of FOOTWEAR AND LEATHER STOCK had an average drop of 44.9% in the country. The figure corresponds to the month of July 2020 compared to the same month last year.
For its part, in August the retraction was 28.5% for the item; while in September they decreased by 18.6% year-on-year and in October, the figure was -35.9%.
Specifically for Mother's Day, retail sales in this SME sector decreased by 37.2% compared to the same day in 2019, as reported by CAME.
