Exports grew by “EXPORTA SIMPLE”

The Department of Foreign Trade of the Chamber of the Footwear Industry (CIC), announced the evolution of the EXPORTA SIMPLE program between October 2017 and July 2019. In this sense, since it was implemented, through 250 operations, 31 thousand pairs of footwear were exported. In the period corresponding to 2017, foreign sales reached 2,000 pairs; in 2018, 11 thousand pairs were dispatched and in the first 7 months of 2019 they increased to 18 thousand pairs.

The value of the exported was US $ 700 thousand and the destinations covered 25 countries, led by the United States with a 63% share of the total, in addition to Chile with 15%, as reported from CIC.
