Both events will share dates and venue, with new halls assigned and proposals for the Autumn-Winter 2026/2027 season.
The fairs will take place from September 23 to 25. A particular feature is that they will not be held alongside MICAM, the finished products fair, which is scheduled for September 7 to 9.
The exhibition will be held simultaneously with LINEAPELLE, from September 23 to 25, in the new halls 6 and 10 of Fiera Milano Rho. Recognized as the leading global technology event for the footwear, leather goods and tanning industries, it will showcase machinery, automation, chemicals, management systems, laboratory equipment and logistics solutions, among other innovations.
The fair is organized by ASSOMAC, the Italian association representing the sector, which will host this edition under its new president, Mauro Bergozza, CEO of Bergi S.p.A. Referring to the event, he stated: “It is essential to strengthen the technological identity of our sector by investing in research, innovation and sustainability.”
SIMAC TANNING TECH stands as the most important international platform for technological innovation and launches for the manufacturing industry. For this reason, industrialists, entrepreneurs and professionals from all over the world attend to discover the latest developments and above all to update themselves in technological matters, with the intention of adding competitiveness to their industries.In September 2024, SIMAC TANNING TECH celebrated its 50th edition. With over 9,000 visitors, international participants accounted for 44% of total attendance.
Foreign representation was also significant among exhibitors, with 26% of the 316 companies coming from more than 20 countries.
The next edition of LINEAPELLE will be held from September 23 to 25, 2025, at Fieramilano Rho, focusing on the Autumn-Winter 2026/2027 season.
On this occasion, the fair will reorganize its usual layout due to adjustments related to the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, occupying halls 1-3, 2-4 and 5-7 of the venue.
The exhibition will feature producers of hides and skins, components, textiles, accessories, synthetics, models and more.
The offerings will target developers of finished products such as footwear, apparel, leather goods, automotive and furniture.
The guiding concept for the season’s trends is titled “Just Before.” Under this theme, a creative transition space is proposed that dissolves boundaries and encourages experimentation.
Through shapes and materials, fashion acts as a generator of positive emotions and holistic well-being. The aesthetic research focuses on a harmonious balance between body and mind, where the essential combines with the exuberant, and neutral tones coexist with unexpected accents.
In February 2025, the fair hosted over 1,100 exhibiting companies. Attendance reached 24,977 professional visitors, of which 18,833 were buyers.
