SAPICA: The largest offer of Mexican footwear
As one of the main business spaces for footwear and leather goods in Mexico and Latin America, SAPICA will hold its 95th edition from August 11 to 13, 2026, in León, Guanajuato, under the organization of the Chamber of the Footwear Industry of the State of Guanajuato (CICEG).
The event will correspond to the Spring/Summer 2027 season and will bring together Mexican and international manufacturers, buyers and wholesalers, offering itself as a space for commercial contacts for the sector.
In each edition, the event promoters estimate participation of more than 2 thousand brands presenting their seasonal collections, together with the holding of more than 6 thousand business meetings. In addition, the fair includes an agenda focused on content and conferences on design, fashion and technology, as well as a networking area.
In March, the event took place in the context of the industry’s centenary, organized under the slogan “100 years of shoemaking pride”.
On that occasion, more than 380 exhibitors and 2 thousand brands participated. Various companies confirmed the good commercial movement recorded during the first days, as a result of buyers attentive to the sector’s new proposals.
In addition, the edition included international promotion actions through Shoes From México, with attention to buyers from different markets. The SAPICA 450 Runway was held within the framework of León’s 450 years and the centenary of the footwear industry, with the participation of the brands Iann Dey, Sereno del Sordo and Neithan Herbert.
