MOMAD will hold its second edition of the year from Friday, September 13, to Sunday, September 15, 2024. The event will take place in Hall 8 of the IFEMA MADRID fairgrounds.
The International Fashion, Footwear, and Accessories Trade Show will be held alongside other sector exhibitions such as Intergift (from September 11 to 14) and Bisutex and Madridjoya (from September 12 to 15). In this sense, the MOMAD proposal will be complemented by jewelry, costume jewelry, watches, accessories, decoration, furniture, and gifts, forming an event focused on lifestyle.
The international profile of the show is also noteworthy, with each edition bringing together more than 300 brands, half of which come from 16 countries. As for the attendees, foreign buyers represent 16% of the total, from 59 nations, according to the organizer -IFEMA MADRID-.
For this occasion, nearly all visitors (92.9%) who attended last February confirmed their participation in September, generating positive expectations among the exhibiting companies.
The product offerings will be segmented into Textile Manufacturing, Footwear and Accessories; Ego, presenting emerging brands; Sustainable Experience, focused on environmental care; and MOMAD 4.0, immersed in the digital world.
Additionally, there will be talks, round tables, and conferences with industry specialists, as well as competitions and collections showcased on the MOMAD Runway.
The International Exhibition of Leather, Components and Machinery for Footwear and Leather Goods will hold its 52nd edition on Wednesday, October 16, and Thursday, October 17, 2024.
The event will take place at the IFA-Fira Alacant event center (Elche/Alicante), covering 12,000 square meters of exhibition space. The fair will showcase trends for the Fall/Winter 2025-2026 season in hides and skins, fabrics, synthetics, textiles, components, accessories, chemicals, and more.
This edition of the fair will be held under the image and motto: "Futurmoda: Connecting with the World of Fashion." According to Álvaro Sánchez, General Director of Footwear Components from Spain (AEC), "The fair is focusing on internationalization, innovation, and connecting different industry players, while also giving greater prominence to sustainability and eco-design."
Various areas will be part of the event, including the Trend Show, the Expert Forum with talks and seminars, and Futurmoda Green Planet, a space dedicated to environmentally responsible proposals.
As reported by AEC, the event organizer, a significant turnout is expected within the context of increasing globalization and competition. The fair aims to foster development in the sector and strengthen commercial relationships among various players in the supply chain.
