MICAM Milano took place from September 13 to 15, 2026, at Fieramilano Rho, Italy. The exhibition featured offerings for different market segments and complemented the presentation of collections with content focused on the stylistic and technological evolution of the industry. Within this framework, the trade fair maintained its international positioning through an offering that combines fashion, innovation, quality and sustainability.
On this occasion, “SHOES FIRST” provided the conceptual framework for the edition and encapsulated a new way of interpreting footwear within MICAM Milano's offering. The campaign emphasized footwear's ability to express individual style, beyond its role in the creative process.
The international dimension of the trade fair was reflected in a balanced representation of Italian and international brands. Of the 758 brands present, 380 came from abroad and 378 were from Italy. Spain, Germany and Brazil were among the most represented countries, while Türkiye and Portugal also had a significant presence within an exhibition comprising 29 countries.
The global profile was also reflected among buyers from 130 countries. The event expanded its reach with the inclusion of markets such as Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Ghana, Nigeria, Australia and Denmark, while maintaining its regular attendance of professionals from Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland. Expectations also centered on participation from markets such as China, the United States, Japan, Canada, Israel and Kazakhstan.

Among the additions to this edition, RETAIL HUB – Accessories Technology for the Store Experience – introduced a dedicated space focused on the changes taking place at retail outlets. The initiative brought together solutions and tools designed to support new ways of presenting, analyzing and selling products in the retail environment.
MICAM Next broadened the industry's perspective through seminars and talks. Artificial intelligence, technology, design, new business models and the transformation of retail were part of a program featuring international specialists, industry leaders and professionals.
In addition, twelve international companies participated in Emerging Designers, an initiative through which the trade fair continues to attract new talent. The designers' participation also extended to MICAM Next through a fashion show and a seminar, in addition to their own dedicated area within the exhibition layout.
Meanwhile, M&M – The Academy Hub – once again highlighted the technical knowledge associated with footwear and leather goods. The joint initiative by MICAM Milano and MIPEL addressed, through various activities, the skills and production processes involved in both supply chains.
Synergies were generated among MICAM Milano, MIPEL, TheOneMilano, Milano Fashion&Jewels and SIMAC Tanning Tech, maintaining the complementary nature of the specialized exhibitions within the fashion industry.
Within this broader framework, the combined results of the first four exhibitions recorded 37,000 visitors, including professionals from markets such as China, France, Japan, Spain, Nigeria, Germany, the United States, Greece, South Africa, Turkey and Poland.
The organizers have already announced the dates for 2027. TheOneMilano, Milano Fashion&Jewels and Si Sposaitalia Collezioni will take place from February 20 to 22, while MICAM Milano and MIPEL will be held from February 21 to 23.
