MICAM brought the global industry together in Milan
From 7 to 9 September 2025, Fieramilano Rho hosted two major international reference events: MICAM, dedicated to fashion footwear, and MIPEL, focused on leather goods and accessories.
In this edition, MICAM featured 870 brands, 401 Italian and 469 international. Together, both fairs became the meeting point for more than one thousand brands from around the world, presenting their collections for Spring/Summer 2026.
The events welcomed a total of 20,362 visitors, 43% domestic and 57% international. Attendees represented 126 countries, with notable participation from Spain, France, Germany, Poland, Japan, China, South Africa, and Nigeria.
According to the organizers, these results highlight the synergy created by holding the fairs simultaneously, which boosts business opportunities across the fashion industry.
Both commemorations gave the exhibition a special character and projected its relevance into the future.
The year 2025 coincided with MICAM's 50th anniversary and 100th edition, reaffirming it worldwide as a benchmark characterized by Made in Italy, know-how, excellence and innovation.
In parallel, ASSOCALZATURIFICI's support for Italian footwear brands translates into 80 years of experience.
Despite the political and economic context, MICAM and MIPEL reaffirmed their strategic role for the industry. Moreover, the earlier-than-usual scheduling of this edition did not affect the continuity of the synergy between the two events, which will continue in 2026.
The next edition is confirmed for 22–24 February 2026 at Fieramilano Rho, with MICAM 101 and MIPEL 129.
