MICAM and LINEAPELLE will concentrate fashion and industry in Milan
Milan will bring together a trade fair agenda for the fashion industry in September 2026. At Fieramilano Rho, Milano Fashion and Jewels and TheOne Milano will take place from September 12 to 14, while MICAM Milano and MIPEL will be held from September 13 to 15, with the Spring-Summer 2027 collections as the central focus.
From September 15 to 17, the calendar will continue with LINEAPELLE (Leather, materials and components) and SIMAC TANNING TECH (Technology for footwear and manufactured goods). In this way, on consecutive and partially overlapping days, the venue will bring together two complementary stages: first, the commercial presentation of collections; then, the production base that supplies different manufacturing sectors.
The Italian trade fair will reach its 102nd edition with communication aimed at reinforcing its international positioning around fashionable, innovative, high-quality and sustainable footwear. In this context, the organizers presented “SHOES FIRST,” a campaign designed to conceptualize the September event and project it toward the editions scheduled for 2027.
The initiative will propose a view of footwear as a product of relevance in the contemporary sphere. According to the narrative, the shoe will be presented as an element that contributes to defining personal style, thus going beyond the creative process. In this regard, MICAM President Giovanna Ceolini stated that shoes “represent much more than an aesthetic choice: they embody stories, territories, craftsmanship, expertise and the capacity for innovation.”
The edition will also introduce an internal reorganization. The exhibition offering usually located in Hall 1 will be relocated to Hall 4, and vice versa. No changes were announced for Halls 2, 3 and 5.
The professional itinerary also usually includes sector-related content. MICAM Next addresses current transformations and challenges in the industry through talks, debates and seminars. The program also includes an installation on components and materials, together with the Future of Retail area, focused on retail and technologies for physical and digital environments. Within the same framework, Emerging Designer gives visibility to designers from different countries by presenting their footwear collections.
The supply trade fair will be held from September 15 to 17, 2026, at Fieramilano Rho, across more than 46,000 square meters of exhibition space. The event is an international meeting that brings together companies from the hides and leather, synthetic materials, fabrics, components and accessories sectors for the footwear, apparel, leather goods and furniture industries.
Under the slogan “That’s it.”, LINEAPELLE will launch the Fall-Winter 2027-2028 season. According to the event organizers, trend research will have as its theme Prompt: Seductive Algorithms – The Illusion of Sweetness, with an approach based on the relationship between human sensitivity and technological innovation. Aesthetics, creative languages and materials will be addressed through a relationship between digital and analog resources.
At each edition, the Trend Areas are at the center of the exhibition, displaying around 2,000 items provided by exhibitors. Leather, fabrics, synthetic materials, components and accessories are presented there. The agenda is completed by conferences on fashion trends.
