LINEAPELLE: Creativity with an Italian touch

LINEAPELLE. Skins and leather. One of the strong sectors of the Italian fair, which brings together national and international exhibitors.
Between Tuesday 20th, Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd September 2022, the 100th edition of LINEAPELLE will take place, under the slogan Back To The Next.

The exhibition will take place at the Fieramilano Rho exhibition center in Milan, Italy, with the presentation of the proposals for the Fall/Winter 2023-2024 season dedicated to the fashion industry.

In the search for a return to normality, the event will take place within the framework of the celebration of various fairs. In this sense, it will take place in parallel with SIMAC TANNING TECH and partially with MICAM, TheOneMilano, MIPEL and Milan Fashion Week.

Adaptation to the new normal

LINEAPELLE took place between February 22nd and 24th, 2022, taking place in a global context marked by the pandemic and the war in Eastern Europe, and still showed the "new normal" in the sector.

The six pavilions of the fairgrounds were occupied by a volume greater than 960 exhibitors, from 31 countries.

Prior to the show, the organization had confirmed a 30% higher participation compared to last September's version, with two thirds of Italians among the total number of exhibitors.

The attendance exceeded 13 thousand people, with visitors from Spain, Germany, France, Portugal, the United States, the United Kingdom and Turkey standing out, and the absence of Asian participation being recorded.

The second version of A NEW POINT OF MATERIALS was part of the LINEAPELLE programming. The initiative focused on responsible innovation, with the exhibition of environmentally friendly skins, leather, textiles and technology.

In addition, in a joint effort between LINEAPELLE and ASSOPELLETTIERI -the Italian leather goods association-, Mipel Lab was presented, an area dedicated to the supply of leather goods, according to the organization.

Among the various activities, more than a thousand materials, components and accessories were exhibited in the traditional Trend Areas, proposals elaborated by the exhibiting companies that were analyzed in different seminars.
