A good start for IFLS+EICI in Colombia
In the CORFERIAS fairground of Bogotá, it takes place from the 4th to the 6th of February, the 41st edition of the event that brings together in IFLS manufacturers of footwear, manufactures and clothing, of local and foreign origin. Meanwhile, EICI congregates suppliers, also national and international, of skins, leather, materials, components, accessories and technology for this industrial sector.
Both simultaneous exhibitions account for about 500 exhibitors, of which the majority are of local origin, from the main manufacturing areas of the country, such as Bogotá, Bucaramanga, Cúcuta and Medellín, among others. From abroad, the most prominent presence is that of Brazil, both in manufacturers and suppliers. Many of them as independent exhibitors and through their entities such as ABICALÇADOS and ASSINTECAL.
Italian companies also exhibit at the fair, accompanied by some Mexican and other origins.
According to the first information received, it is notable the reduction of the presence of Chinese exhibitors, very common in this fair, probably affected by the restrictions of the coronavirus.
In its last editions IFLS+EICI had an average of 10 thousand visitors per event.
