From July 5 to 7, 2026, EXICAL will take place at the FORJA Event Center, in Córdoba, as a meeting point for the footwear and manufactured goods industry in the central region of the country. The exhibition is organized by the Chamber of the Footwear Industry of Córdoba together with the Chamber of the Footwear and Related Industries of Santa Fe.
During the three days, more than 150 companies from the sector will present their developments for the Spring/Summer 2026-2027 season. The offer will include footwear lines for women, men and children, in sports, comfort, urban and dress segments, as well as leather goods such as bags, handbags and belts.
The event will be aimed at linking manufacturers, distributors and retailers, in an environment designed for exchange within the value chain. In this context, national and imported brands will participate, thus exhibiting their new collections.
According to the organization’s plans, the event will bring together attendees from across the country related to the activity, including commercial representatives, designers, suppliers and wholesalers, in a setting aimed at exchange between companies in the sector, through the completion of business deals and the generation of new contacts.
On that occasion, EXICAL had 145 stands from 120 exhibitors from Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Santa Fe, who exhibited footwear aimed at the Fall-Winter 2026 season.
According to the organization, attendance was good and higher than in previous editions. As a relevant fact, the presence of new buyers and the return of others was noted, especially from different provinces.
It should be clarified that sales were uneven: for some they were good, for others regular, and for others decidedly nonexistent. This disparity in results had different causes: designs, prices, payment and delivery conditions, and the manufacturer-client relationship, in addition to the general market situation.
In the composition of the offer, most were national products, complemented by Brazilian brands and footwear of Asian origin, which confirmed, according to opinions gathered, that there are no major differences in prices and designs with local products, which still remain competitive.
