The trade fair featuring Brazil’s leading brands and manufacturers is being held from May 18 to 20, 2026, at Distrito Anhembí, in São Paulo.
The exhibition is promoted by ABICALÇADOS -Brazilian Footwear Industries Association- and organized by NürnbergMesse Brasil.
More than 350 national brands will take part in the event, representing 75% of Brazilian footwear production across all product lines: women’s, men’s and children’s footwear.
The event expects to receive more than 12,000 buyers from Brazil and from nearly 60 countries.
For the official opening, important national government authorities, legislative representatives and state government officials have confirmed their attendance, along with sector leaders.
According to the executive president of ABICALÇADOS, Haroldo Ferreira, “BFSHOW has established itself as a strategic environment for business generation, for strengthening the national industry and also for discussing relevant issues related to the competitiveness, export activity, innovation and development of the Brazilian footwear sector.”
Industry sources report that expectations for international trade have increased due to the positive moment currently experienced by Brazilian exports. Data compiled by ABICALÇADOS show that, in April 2026, 8.2 million pairs were shipped, 9% more than in the same month of 2025. In the accumulated four-month period, exports totaled 34.5 million pairs, a decrease of 11.7% compared to the same period of the previous year. Countries such as the United States and Latin American markets drove the recovery that began in April.
