BFSHOW consolidates itself as the main showcase for Brazilian footwear

In November, it will once again bring together local manufacturers with national and international buyers in São Paulo.


In its last edition, held in May, it welcomed more than 12,000 visitors, while a significant increase in attendance is expected next November.

From November 10 to 12, 2025, the fifth edition of BFSHOW will take place in the Anhembi district, São Paulo, Brazil. Organized by NürnbergMesse Brasil and promoted by the Brazilian Footwear Industries Association (ABICALÇADOS), the event will gather manufacturers and buyers around the national footwear offer.

On this occasion, the fair will present collections for the Autumn/Winter season. Participating brands will include women’s, men’s, children’s, and sports footwear, originating from different industrial clusters across the country.

BFSHOW positions itself as a meeting point between the national industry and commercial operators from both domestic and foreign markets. The fair offers a comprehensive overview of Brazilian-made footwear, characterized by its diversity of styles, quality, sustainability, and technological development.

In this regard, the event represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen the international visibility of local products, as well as to promote business opportunities between brands and buyers, according to the organizers.

May edition registers record visitors and business deals

A sense of widespread satisfaction was noted at the close of the 4th edition of BFSHOW, held from May 19 to 21 in the new district of Parque Anhembi, São Paulo/SP.

A total of 363 exhibiting brands participated, and more than 12,300 buyers attended, of which 1,200 came from 60 countries.

Hosting the event in São Paulo/SP contributed to its success, thanks to its strategic location at both national and international levels, as well as its service infrastructure, which facilitated a greater influx of local and foreign visitors.

Satisfaction among exhibitors and buyers

The survey of opinions conducted with various exhibitors was highly revealing regarding the results achieved. Most confirmed having closed a good volume of business and highlighted the high qualification of the buyers. They also agreed that international visits were very significant, allowing the opening of new export markets in the Middle East, Latin America and Europe.

On the buyers’ side, both local and foreign, they highlighted the variety of the offer, which included premium and standardized products, as well as large and small volumes. Regarding the products on display, they valued the updated designs, technology, and high manufacturing quality.

Finally, the majority of participants -both exhibitors and visitors- rated the organization of the event as excellent, on par with the best international events in the sector.

Optimism for upcoming editions

Meanwhile, João Paulo Picolo, CEO of NürnbergMesse Brasil, emphasized that BFSHOW, in its fourth edition, had already become the largest trade fair of the sector in Latin America.

“With 30% more space than in May 2024, the exhibition will continue to grow in the coming years. All exhibitors were very satisfied with the influx of national and international visitors. The feeling is one of a mission accomplished,” said the executive.
