UNDER ARMOUR returns to manufacture footwear in Argentina
During the visit made by representatives of the BAYSUR group, responsible for the apparel and footwear brand in Argentina, to the BICONTINENTAR (ex-Paquetá) industrial plant in Chivilcoy, it was announced that next July the production of sports shoes will begin in that establishment.
Government authorities and businessmen expressed their satisfaction with the agreement that will allow the creation of 50 new jobs, in addition to expanding the production lines, which will contribute to achieving a greater manufacturing volume. The incorporation of one of the most important global sports brands into the national industry confirms the capacity and reliability of local labor, which meets the standards of quality and applied technology required by this type of product.
With the entry of 50 new employees, BICONTINENTAR reaches 500 jobs recovered, after the last closure of the factory. The initial production of UNDER ARMOUR will be 20 thousand pairs per month.
