TOMS espadrilles are back


After four years of absence, the brand identified with espadrilles returned to the Mexican market.

With a presence in more than 100 stores and the opening of two of its own, the Argentine brand identified with espadrilles returned after four years with a more aggressive relaunch and growth program. The first store is located in the exclusive Roma Norte area of Mexico City, and the plan is to open two stores per year. One of the objectives of TOMS is to diversify the offer, beyond its emblematic product: the espadrille, and venture into other categories of footwear, such as sneakers, casual shoes and with heels. Company executives reported that in view of the growth of demands for sustainable products, not aggressive to the environment, by 2025 the company promised that the cotton used in its products will be 100% sustainable, and in four years they will reduce the carbon footprint.
