PICCADILLY increased its footwear sales by 525%


​Identified with comfortable and sustainable products, the Brazilian brand has increased its presence in its own market and abroad.
After the sharp fall caused by the pandemic, the well-known footwear industry with its parent plant in Ingrejinha, Rio Grande do Sul, reported that in the first 6 months of 2021, it sold 525% more than in the same period of 2020.

According to its managers, among the reasons for growth was to maintain the commitment to comfortable products.

The company assured that it is generating jobs, where 80 new workers were hired for the Rolante and Teutonia manufacturing units in RS. PICCADILLY has been in force for 66 years and employs 2.000 workers. Production has increased by 40%, manufacturing more than 25 thousand pairs per day.

Another aspect of the company is its commitment to sustainability, where materials are recycled, electricity is consumed from renewable sources and raw materials do not have animal origin.
