DASS permanently closes its plant in Misiones
The Brazilian company officially announced in July 2026 the closure of its last production plant in the country, located in Eldorado, in the province of Misiones. DASS ceased local manufacturing for brands such as NIKE and ADIDAS after 19 years of operations, transferring the supply of finished products to its plants in Brazil. According to its executives, the measure was taken as a consequence of the loss of profitability amid the opening of imports. The closure resulted in the loss of 150 jobs. Nevertheless, the company retains its representation and commercial distribution licenses in Argentina for Fila, Umbro and Asics, operating from its logistics centers in Coronel Suárez and Cañuelas.
