BATA donates 1 MILLION PAIRS of shoes

For healthcare workers, volunteers and their relatives, worldwide.


One of the world's footwear giants and its response to the health crisis that plagues all humanity.​

The leading company in the international footwear industry has committed this aid to personnel who are affected in the daily fight against the coronavirus pandemic, mainly in areas where the company has operations.

The donation will reach various countries in Europe, Latin America, Africa, Asia-Pacific and India.

More solidarity actions

Since the start of the outbreak, BATA through its "Heroes BATA" initiative, has been working with its foundations and charitable partners, with government entities and with other organizations to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, in countries as diverse as India, The Czech Republic, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Colombia, Italy, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Chile, Peru, Thailand and Malaysia. BATA produced and donated face masks, face shields, and protective equipment (PPE) for health workers, as well as donated food, health products, or funds through its “Child Support Program” and the “BATA Shoe” Foundation.
