

Representatives of the Chalhoub Group from the United Arab Emirates took part in the latest edition of Colombiamoda (held in July 2025) with a key mission: to identify and assess high-potential Colombian luxury and design brands in order to introduce or expand them in Middle Eastern markets. Their focus was on leather goods, apparel and footwear, segments in which Colombia enjoys international recognition for the quality of its designs and manufactured goods. The company, which is present in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon, aims to strengthen the connection between Medellín (Colombia’s fashion capital) and Dubai/Abu Dhabi (global luxury retail centers), opening up long-term investment and collaboration opportunities.
