Next season designs presents different proposals according to the lines of use and the multiple sources of inspiration. On the one hand, a segment of simple and functional products, represented by flip flops, slippers, mules and flat sandals, with strips and sober/open uppers. They stand out for the quality, colors, textures and combinations of materials, and often for the presence of accessories and ornaments. The backgrounds are simple, classic or flats, usually with anatomical insoles, where aesthetics are combined with functionality and comfort.
With more fashion content, the sneaker proposal appears to includes from basic to fashion design. The most innovative is expressed through the trend "ugly" and "chunky" that encourages the use of bulky soles, with many moldings and colors, and very complex uppers in pieces, seams and combinations.
Then the casual sneakers are placed with more sober and elegant designs, which also capture a good part of the preferences.
For the high lines, sandals have classic soles and stylized heel - Stiletto - or with volume heels with platforms. As products for clothing and party, its elegance is accentuated with good heel height, and high quality materials.
The technological aspect has strongly influenced the aesthetic content of the materials, expanding its use and application. Converting this aspect as a protagonist for certain footwear designs.
Thus, leathers, synthetics and textiles are exposed to different manufacturing processes providing very innovative and attractive results.
Although the preference for natural and handmade materials, such as raffias, jute, hemp and rustic cotton, there is also a more industrial and technical proposal, which includes film transfers, prints and surface finishes. In this sense, we could highlight the metallic, reptiles, glitters, iridescence, litmus, patent leathers and decorative embossing.
It frequently appeals to geometric, patterns, floral and retro designs. Many of which are treated with duotone finishes.
Textiles have a significant participation through new prints and outstanding colors - abstract images, flowers, scratches, fonts, polka dots, etc. -. In this area will be offered networks, double fronts and neoprenes for general applications.
Transparent, translucent and printed vinyls will have possibilities as complements of other materials.
Finally to underline, it is the “Fishnet” trend that involves interwoven, interlaced, perforated and openwork, which are functional to the warm season.

For flat models as flip flops, mules, sandals and slippers, we will find cuted, handmade and injected soles. The variables will be the heights between 2 and 5 cms. The handmade ones, for example, can include different materials - rubber and eva plates -. Injected soles have more designs options, adding exterior molds and anatomical insoles. In the aesthetic-visual value of the color, the finishing of the materials - bright and opaque - and their combinations will be of fundamental importance. It is necessary to make a previous comparison of luminosities and expressive and emotional possibilities, as the beginning of the creative task.
