The leading Canadian outdoor brand, known for footwear designed for hiking and adventure, has extended this concept to urban-use products, achieving a balanced combination of functional and aesthetic attributes.
The two recently launched lines, SOREL x BARBOUR DAYSTORM and CARIBOU HORIZON, share similar design structures, with differences defined by shaft heights and closure systems. One model features flat laces threaded through eyelets, while the other uses tubular laces passing through metal buckles.
Both designs reference the gaiter construction, where the lower part of the shaft overlaps the rest of the upper, and the toe caps present embossed patterns and radial, shell-like stitching.
The products are made from waterproof full-grain leathers, with insulated linings and removable insoles. The soles are VIBRAM, manufactured with the XS Trek Evo special compound, known for high durability and flexibility, featuring a maximum-grip track profile and a textured perimeter sidewall.
