Creative Boldness: NIKE transforms a sports shoe into chunky slides
Starting with its iconic Air Adjust Force sports shoe from the 90s, designed for basketball, the US brand has carried out numerous interventions on this classic model.
One of the latest was carried out with Korean fashion designer Yoon Ahn, creator and director of AMBUSH, another renowned international brand.
The result was an innovative design of slides and sandals, created by openings made on the original structure, while preserving its sports profile and adding visual strength through its chunky sole.
The uppers are padded and aesthetically integrated into the general concept of the products.
An original detail is the removable stability strap that wraps around the instep and sole, passing through the midfoot.
